Narrative Writing

Stan’s hands tensing on the guitar show his nervousness as he stares at the stage. He takes a final glance at the drummers as they finish of their act. He thinks one thing, our turn... Stan’s eyes follow the roaring crowd as the drummers bow and take their leave. The music teacher signals us to walk onto the stage. Their guitar’s are choked by tightened grips as they follow Lance onto the stage and steps threaten to trip up the nervous guitarist’s as they march on stage. Time to start...

Michael introduces the group as a drop of sweat forces it’s way down his forehead. When he finishes he quickly sits down and picks up a guitar. The music teacher yells “1, 2, 3, 4!” then they start to play. Stan looks down at his strings and begins to play. He notices that he doesn’t need to look at the audience and his butterflies soon start to disappear as he starts to enjoy the music.

Stan takes a look to the left and watches Michael ply the bass and he realizes that he isn’t strumming and he quickly goes back into the same routine. Stan takes a while to adjust to the patience and waiting of the crowd as they stare with empty eyes. The crowd’s emptiness and silentness intimidates Stan and he looks back down at his guitar.

As the music group finish each one of them stand up and they take a bow. Stan jumps as he looks to his left to find Michael knocking his guitar as it falls to the ground. He follows his instinct and he quickly picks up the guitar and power-walks off stage with the rest of the group. The audience start to clap as a step claims a kill and trips up Lance as he breaks the silence. Stan is welcomed with ‘Well done’ and ‘Good job’ as he exits the music room.

Grammar Punctuation Worksheet

For inquiry this term our class learnt about state of matter. I have found out many things about the density, liquids, gases, solids and how matter of particular substances change when the temperature is changed.
An example of this would be water when frozen. Water becomes a solid because it turns into ice when at room temperature. Water is a liquid. When it’s heated water becomes gas as it is steam. Another example would be chocolate. From learning about states of matter I know that different materials have different densities. However not everyone knows what density means. Density is how tightly or closely the particles of a material are. I know that from our particle layer party experiment that honey and golden syrup are denser than water and methylated spirits.
I like learning about matter because it’s interesting and helps me better understand the ways thing worked

T2W5 Homework: Persuasive Writing

Why we should have freetime

Do you want your students to be playing games all the time and never doing their work?
Well that’s why I think we should have freetime...

Basicly I am saying that if you don’t let us have free time we can start to hate work and would refuse to do anymore, therefore would make them start to hate school and the following schools. This will affect our future.

Following that people could just playing games and not doing work at all. Did you know that more than half of the amount of a class (With netbooks) play games.

Finally if we had free time more often it could make people want to work and they would keep trying to work as hard as they can to play the games they like and have a nice future

My Narrative

The cavern.

Dead water were at war with each other while the starless dawn covered the sleeping moonlight. Painted oak in the shape of a kayak held four sleepless friends. Hijacked by careless people and left to suffer and perish. Lived on the cruiseship and treated it like a pet since they were young. Michael’s 27th birthday. A year older than the others. Shadows overcast the sea as a slightly over sloped cavern subdued among the smooth twilight horizon. Water was rushing against the kayak as the men slowly used simple twigs they found dead on the sea. Lightning and thunder decorated the black sky with terror as they finally found sanctuary. Jack. Daniel. Michael. Nelson. Home...

Silence murdered the sound, but gave mercy on a faint dripping sound that gave hope to the ongoing darkness. Deep within the midst of the unknown a creature was moving within the darkness. Survival of the fittest. Daniel threw a fist at the ebony shadow, thus causing anger to strike the hostile creature like a little girl having a fit. Followed by the monster's jaws to Ara’s leg and dragged him into the horrifying midst known as the monsters home. It rallied a second feast reaching for Nelson but missed. Jack evaded the ongoing a spiked and jagged piece of rock and was stunned. Michael jumped back into the kayak and rowed his hardest.

Dusk was already in action as the sun fell into a deep sleep and the psychotic cave was waiting for Michael’s return. His heart was jumping out of place. He regretted looking back on the horror of that cave. The endless sea was waiting to eat him alive. He had nowhere to go before the ship that was stolen from them returned for him.

In a process that is also a treatment,
