Jayden Term 2 Goals
My learning goal for Reading this term is:
to extend my vocabulary so I can understand what I read.
To achieve this goal, I will need to:
Read books like Harry Potter and ask about the words I do not know. I could also use a dictionary to help me learn the meaning of new words and try to use these new words every day.
My whanau can help me achieve this by:
Encouraging me to read better or longer books.
My learning goal for Writing this term is:
Paragraph my writing into paragraphs.
To achieve this goal, I will need to:
Remember to start a new paragraph when I get to a new part of my story.
My whanau can help me achieve this by:
Helping me remember to use my paragraphs in any writing I do at home.
My learning goal for Maths this term is:
To try and reach stage 7 in maths by the end of the year.
To achieve this goal, I will need to:
Keep practicing my maths at home and in the holidays.
My whanau can help me achieve this by:
Giving me hard maths problems like 13 divided by 7.
My personal goal this term is:
To keep trying my best in learning.
To achieve this goal, I will need to
Try not to work low and reach high personal standards like the national standards.
My whanau can help me achieve this by:
Working with and giving me “homework” to do when I’m bored.
